I’m excited to show off this gorgeous Cafe Brauer wedding. I met Charlotte when I photographed her maid-of-honor Allison’s Field Museum wedding in 2016. Charlotte and Ryan attended that wedding together before they were engaged. There was this sweet photo of Ryan stealing a kiss quickly as the bridal party prepped for the bride and groom’s grand exit. So obviously I noticed these two and how sweet they were together. Once they were engaged, Charlotte called and I was really happy to still be free for their date.
About the day.. It felt easy and it just flowed so well. As a wedding photographer, I do see moments when things sometimes don’t go as planned.. Occasionally, that is just part of a wedding day. Happened at my own wedding!:) However, these two were going to have an awesome day no matter what because that’s just who they are as people. BUT they also planned very well. They were flexible with a great plan in place–the best way to be. They had this gorgeous black tie wedding with lots of details and elements that all came together seamlessly. I spoke to Ryan on the phone not long after they got their photos and he said he really believed that it was worth investing in amazing vendors and how much he enjoyed the day unconcerned with the details and knowing they were taken care of. I am listing the vendors at the end of this post. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them was amazing! Truly. Thank you team Charlotte and Ryan’s wedding!
