I first met Aynsley at Jorie & Tim’s wedding in Michigan, where she was a guest. I was so happy when Aynsley contacted me a bit later about her Highland Park wedding at Exmoor Country Club because word-of-mouth referrals always lead to the best clients.
As I got to know Aynsley, I really appreciated how easy going she is and the fact that she completely trusted me to document the wedding day in a unique and meaningful way– she just let me do my thing:) She wanted me to document the day as I saw it. I’m so appreciative when I am given complete freedom to make creative photos for my clients.
In addition to photography, another key component of this day was their music and the party. Aynsley wanted everyone to have a great time, so besides making some lovely portraits for the two of them, I really focused on the reception and getting great party photos. Aynsley, Brett, their guests, and fantastic band (Rush Street Rhythm) delivered a hopping dance floor, as I knew they would. So we definitely got a ton of dancing shots for them. Below are some selections from their day.
