I’m excited to share this Field Museum wedding from this past summer.
The couple described wanting a wedding that was timeless and elegant with a bit of edge. Every detail was thoroughly considered and it was really fun to be able to document it all.
I started off the day with Ashley as she finished makeup and put on her custom designed wedding dress from White Wedding Bespoke. I documented details and the custom invite suite that the bride designed herself– crazy talent! Then the couple had a first look and sweet gift exchange on the rooftop of theWit hotel. After, we took portraits around at the Art Institute Gardens with the wedding party, then headed to the Field Museum for the ceremony and reception. Ashley is an architect, so the architectural elements of the historic Field Museum were important to her, and she wanted those captured along with all the moments of the day. So we made portraits and documentary captures that really showed off the exteriors and interiors of The Field.
It was an absolutely stunning day for the sweetest couple. I hope you enjoy some favorites below.
