It’s always humbling when a fellow wedding professional reaches out and asks you to capture their wedding, and it was no exception when Joanna of Joanna B Artistry contacted me about capturing her intimate Chicago City Hall wedding.
Joanna and Karim got married in a very small civil ceremony on a Thursday around 2pm, which was such a delightful way to spend a weekday afternoon. We took some time before their family arrived to make some photos around the outside of the building and nearby streets and and then wrapped up our time together with a brief, but meaningful, private ceremony.
A few weeks after their civil ceremony, Joanna and Karim celebrated with family and friends with a reception at the Dalcy.. I will be sharing that party next!
