The Field Museum Wedding- Allison and Scott

The Field Museum was one of my favorite venues to shoot at last season when I documented Allison and Scott’s wedding day. It’s such a grand space that I have been to many times as a museum goer but I loved seeing how it transformed into an event space in the evening. Allison and Scott had a lot of cool details to their day– a vintage Rolls Royce that took the bride and her father to the church, her full skirted gown with pockets (her fave element), gorgeous design by Kehoe Designs (they always kill it), outdoor cocktails overlooking the city, fireworks at night, a custom mac and cheese late night snack bar, etc. I feel like these two hit such a great balance holding a formal high scale event that always felt light, was full of joy, AND a really awesome party. Below are some selections from the day.
