I always love photographing weddings at Chicago Athletic Association. The light there is so dramatic and as a photographer its fun to play with deep shadows and slivers of light for portraits. It’s also such a great venue for guests. The rooms are gorgeous and they can the flow from ceremony to reception with ease.
Shannon and Alice also really appreciated the beauty of the space and had ideas about their first look and portraits around the venue. We also walked across the street to the Chicago Art Institute Gardens and around Millennium Park as it’s all within walking distance from CAA.
I really enjoyed spending time with these two. They laugh and smile so much, it’s contagious. They are just so.much.fun. It was an honor to document this sweet couple and such a joy filled wedding day. Below are some of my selections.
