As soon as I met Lydia and Royce, I knew I’d love working with them and photographing their Westin River North wedding. First, they have great chemistry together. I noticed immediately how much they smiled and laughed during our first meeting at my studio.  Additionally, they both had ideas about photography and it was equally important to them. I mentioned this before in their engagement post but they scouted an awesome spot for that session.. still one of my faves!

And here’s a fun fact, I photographed Lydia before I ever met her. She mentioned something while we were talking about being at a past wedding I photographed and that she was in some of the photos.  So I scrolled back through and found this amazing photo of her jumping for the bouquet at a wedding at A New Leaf in 2012! Scroll to the bottom of that post and you’ll find the pic. She’s the cutie in the pink dress on the right in the bouquet toss photo and it was pre-Royce:)

These two are fun, spirited, kind and I feel really honored they had me document their city wedding and celebration at the Westin. Below are some of my favorites from their day.
