Liz and Tim had their wedding ceremony and reception at the River Roast restaurant in downtown Chicago. Liz booked me after a quick but great phone chat. She’s super easy to talk to, fun, and is almost always smiling. From the start, she mentioned she wanted a laid-back wedding day without too much planning stress. There was no bridal party so it was just a few of us for the photos keeping everything really easy. We took all of their portraits within walking distance of the venue. I also loved her bridal look with the feel of her wedding. She wore a high ponytail style that worked so well with her sheath gown. I may have taken too many ponytail sillouette photos:) Another observation I had was that these two were so welcoming of children at their reception. They love kids and are so great with them. Dustin from Toast and Jam had quite the request list going by a group of little girls.. it was so cute and he was a good sport about it (see below). After the kiddos started to get sleepy the adults took over the dance floor. I hope the photos show the feel of what a relaxed and joyful day these two had. Below are some of my selections
