This was such a lovely wedding to photograph. I remember the first time I met with Maegan she was wearing a really cute coat that had classic lines with unique detailing. Her wedding had a similar aesthetic. She has really great style. She’s a wardrobe consultant so it totally makes sense. She worked with the designer Rani at St. Pucchi for her custom designed gown and designed the bridesmaids dresses herself. She just floated in that gorgeous dress and I was IN LOVE with the bows on the bridesmaids. I think I need a consult with Maegan:)
Maegan and Karl’s ceremony was at the the beautiful St. Raymond’s Cathedral in Joliet, Illinois. The altar can be viewed from three sides so it’s a fabulous church for photography. Following the ceremony we traveled to Chicago and spent time photographing around the city before arrived at their reception at the InterContinental Hotel Chicago. The evening was full of toasts, a super sweet first dance, and lots of laughter. And, doesn’t Karl have a fabulous smile? I had so many great reaction shots of him it was hard to pick.
Thank you Maegan and Karl for sharing your day with me. Congrats!
