Gabby and Yan had a larger wedding abroad but before they left they wanted to have a ceremony in Chicago to celebrate with local family and friends. They decided to keep it simple and small. We started the day meeting up at a neighborhood coffee shop. On the phone, Gabby said there would be no first look since they were getting ready together but they’d love to start their day with a coffee– it was kind of a must since great coffee is something that they share a love for as a couple. We met up, they caffeinated, had a bite, and we took a couple photos on location. Next, we were off to Lincoln Park for a few portraits before meeting up with family and friends for their intimate and super sweet ceremony. Their dads were their attendants and everyone was so overjoyed for these two. I ended coverage at the park and they were off to a dinner to continue the celebration.
Thank you Gabby and Yan, I had so much fun with you two! Below are some of my faves.
I guess Gabby is known for her love of Trader Joe’s. So I was told by her friend this was the perfect photo of her with all her stuff in a TJ bag.The dads as attendants was adorable! The full crew:)
