This was a special wedding to photograph. I knew both the bride and groom prior to their engagement as well as many of the guests at the wedding. Chelsea and I met at the Splat Flats artist studios years ago when we both rented there. I met Chris at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where we both received our graduate degrees. They now live in Brooklyn, NY but decided to get married in Chicago. When they contacted me and asked me if I’d be interested in photographing their wedding, I knew it would be a super fun day and was honored they were hiring me. When I met with them in Chicago, I was so impressed at how much thought that they’d put into every aspect of their wedding from the vendors they selected to the decor and favors the bride made herself. I appreciate when couples think through their choices and make their day unique to who they are as a couple. Thank you C&C for hiring me as your photog. I had the bestest time! Big hugs, A
