I really enjoyed documenting Kate and Jordan’s wedding and reception at Architectural Artifacts. I ask every couple I photograph to give me three words to describe what they want their wedding to feel like. These two said laughter-filled, romantic, and joyful. This perfectly sums up their day. We started at the Knickerbocker where they got ready and had their first look just outside the hotel. After, we headed over to Lincoln Park for their portraits where we had gorgeous blue skies and September light. Lincoln Park lends itself to a romantic look with it’s grasses and large trees. We finished the photos and headed over to their venue Architectural Artifact Events. During the ceremony, the light was filtering in from the windows creating a lovely hazy silhouette. After, guests gathered for cocktail hour with appetizers from Food for Thought before transitioning into their super fun reception with music by Arlen Music’s Velocity band. These two had a great group of vendors and a well planned day. This allowed them the easy pace they wanted and to be fully present and enjoy their time with family, friends, and each other. Below are selections from their day.
