I’m really excited to be one of the selected vendors for Indie Wed this year. I went last winter and knew immediately I would apply for this year’s show. I so wish I had something like this to attend when I was getting married. If you don’t already know about Indie Wed, here’s a description from their website.
“Indie Wed is THE alternative to the traditional bridal expo. For those in the midst of wedding planning, Indie Wed offers a one stop shop for all the best wedding artisans and professionals from the Midwest and beyond.
So what exactly does “Indie Wed” mean? Not only is our focus on promoting and supporting small, independent (indie) businesses, but also couples with an independent spirit. For some that may mean a full-blown unconventional fete while others may simply want to incorporate handmade items from local artisans. Indie Wed is wedding planning… redefined.”
It’s a fabulous event to go for ideas and chat with vendors you might be interested in working with for your day. There are over 100 creative businesses in one place! Plus, there are giveaways, tasty treats, and some music for dancing if you’re in the mood. Basically, it’s going to be fun times.
