Lauren & Michael- Logan Square Engagement

I met up with Lauren and Michael in Logan Square at Esterio a coffee shop / cocktail bar in their neighborhood (this place is totally my jam so I’ll definitely be back:). After, we walked around and just looked for interesting areas of light and texture to shoot. These are my favorite kind of sessions where I don’t know exactly where I’ll make an image. It was also really nice to explore Logan Square more.  These two are easy going and super fun to chat with. I noticed they both asked me a lot of questions which was a pleasant surprise as I’m usually the one asking the couple about themselves. They are genuinely interested in other people and it’s such a nice element to who they are as individuals and a pair.  I can definitely see why they are together–they are both always engaged and interested. Plus, they are adorably affectionate. After we finished up in Logan Square, we hopped over to the West Loop where we finished the shoot. Excited to see these two again this year for their Salvage One wedding. Below are some of my faves from their engagement session.
