Currently, I’m taking a short break to spend time with our new babe before I jump back into work full swing late March. Can’t wait to shoot this year’s weddings and portrait sessions!

I’m still taking meetings with wedding clients for remaining dates for 2011 and I’ve started to book into 2012. If you’re interested in booking Angela Renée Photography for a wedding or portrait session, please fill out the contact form and I’ll be in touch! Thanks and lots more soon, soon!

Mimi is my husband’s grandmother. Her name is Carol but I’ve always known her as Mimi since the first time we met. She’s 90 years old and lives by herself in a small town in Wisconsin where she grew up. We celebrated her birthday last June and that same weekend she got a new car. She joked that she had renewed her license a few weeks before and it was good for eight years. Don’t worry Internet, she’s a good driver AND she lives in a really, really small town.

A couple of weeks ago, Clayton and I drove up to see her and spent the day eating out (twice), playing games, and shopping. She wore us out:) She is really special to both of us and I wanted to get at least one photo of her and Clayton together during our visit. You see, Mimi doesn’t like the camera much.. BUT, to my surprise she was really ok with letting me take photos with my big camera. I was able to get some snaps while we played cards and Scrabble. She made this expression at one point that reminded me of my mother-in-law. I mentioned this to her and she said, “You should have gotten a picture of that!”.

Ok, so this wasn’t my best game..

Clayton took this last photo so that’s my disclaimer on why it’s blurry. I like it anyway:)
