Jennifer and Ryan are such easy going people and I really enjoyed spending time getting to know them better during their engagement session. I met them at their home in Chicago and we decided to walk around the area and take photos along the way. I looked for locations with textures or ways to frame them–like the underpass. Sometimes its fun to just find locations this way, to just happen upon them instead of always having a pre-conceived idea. They wrote me in advance and asked if we could take a few photos with their dog Augie. I love, love animals so I always welcome clients adding their extra family member.  At the end of the session, Jennifer gave me a gift for Ilyse. How thoughtful is that?!
